How to make an online invoice or receipt
An online invoice maker helps you turn business, customer and product details into a digital document. With Sahal Invoice, you can customize the design and download a PDF without installing software.
1. Add your business and customer details
Open the online invoice maker. Enter your business name and contact details, then the customer's name, email and address as needed. Add a document number and date. For an invoice, you can also set a due date.
2. List the products or services
Write a clear description for each item, then enter quantity and unit price. For example, 4 notebooks at $12 each total $48. Add tax and discounts if they apply, and check the calculated total.
3. Choose a currency and design
Select the currency you bill in. Changing the currency changes the displayed denomination; it does not convert your prices. Choose a template, add your logo, and include a stamp or signature if needed.
4. Create an invoice or a paid receipt
An invoice requests payment. A receipt acknowledges a payment received. To use the online receipt maker, select Receipt as the document type. Check Paid only when the document has been paid in full. For partial payments, enter the amount received and check the balance.
5. Download your digital invoice as PDF
Choose Print / PDF, then Download PDF or Print. Check the document before sending it. Attach the downloaded PDF in your email or WhatsApp conversation; opening a draft does not send it automatically.
Save and back up your work
Use Save document to keep a record in your browser, and Backup to download a separate JSON copy. Clearing browser data can remove local records. A PDF is a document copy; the JSON backup is used to restore editable records.
Is this invoice and receipt maker free?
The Free plan includes 5 new exported documents per day. Re-downloading or printing the same document does not use another allowance. The limit currently applies to this browser. Pro is coming soon; payments are not connected yet.
